Can You Make Serious Money With
Basically, this is how Project Payday really works:
You go online and sign up to get a free product that you neither want, nor need. As an example you might order a bottle of the latest snake oil. This snake oil usually costs $100 a bottle, but all you have to pay is a shipping and handling charge of $5. The company has this offer to introduce you to their new and exciting product.
After completing the order, all you have to do is send me your bill and I’ll send you a cheque for maybe $25, which covers your effort and time. This also factors in the time that you will need to spend cancelling the automated monthly shipment of your snake oil. If you do not cancel then you will get another bottle each month and you will be billed at the full price for it.
Sounds cool doesn’t it? You only have to pay five dollars and receive a check for $25, which is an instant $20 profit for a few minutes work. The affiliate that referred you most likely receives a larger cheque than you do, so everybody is happy, right? Not everybody is really happy because somebody loses out. The one that loses is the company selling the snake oil!
Is Project Payday A Fair Method To Earn A Few Bucks?
Project Payday is an internet course designed to teach you the easy way to make commissions promoting various CPA or “Cost Per Action” offers. You are basically exploiting companies who employ this highly dubious incentivized approach to getting their products into new customers’ hands. Is it legal? Yes. Is it ethically and morally right? Well, that is for you to decide!
CPA Offers And Project Payday?
These types of offers are usually free or very low-cost trial offers, designed to get a company’s products or services into the hands of new customers in the hope of gaining additional monthly recurring sales at a later date. The company takes the initial risk, but if you like the product they will be able to make their profits from your repeat custom.
Have you seen any advertising banners that offer you iPods, cash and other gifts just to complete a survey?
These sites are known as “Incentivized Freebie Websites” or IFWs and are the focus of Project Payday business model based on trickery!
That’s not to say that you will not receive your free iPod after you have filled in the survey and checked boxes next to other affiliate offers that you’re probably not in the slightest bit interested in! But believe me when I tell you that there is actually a major catch!
This is simply a method for companies to capture your private information and to begin sending you products. You might find that the acne cream you didn’t really need is being delivered each month and you are being billed for it! This only has to happen once before you realise it and the company has made their money back on the freebies they sent you.
Of course, if you really have an interest in the product or service, then that would be a different situation altogether. That is why the companies use this method, as they are targeting genuine, interested potential customers.
However you should be wary if an affiliate steps in and technically bribes you to complete the offer and then advises you to immediately cancel any further commitment to purchase the products. This is the Project Payday model and the company selling the product is getting cheated!
This might end up being a win for you and the referring affiliate, but the company loses enormously because they paid a commission for what really amounted to a fake shopper who truly had no real interest in the product or service being offered.
Is Project Payday Ethical?
So the answer to the question: “Is project payday ethical?” is pretty clear. It depends entirely on which side of the fence you sit and your own sense of right and wrong.
Suffice it to say that there are plenty of people making decent incomes doing this part-time, by promoting these dubious CPA offers. The people who will make the big money are the ones who can promote an offer in such a way as to draw in people who might really be interested in trying the product or service. If those customers repeat order then these genuine entrepreneurs will make their repeat commissions.
They won’t be tricking anyone and nobody loses out. The company get their customer, the customer gets the product that they wanted anyway, and the wise entrepreneur makes their repeat commissions!
If you can master the science and art of selling, then you too could probably earn a decent living doing this too. If you don’t want to trick or mislead people then there might be better home businesses for you, where you can excel. Check out our recommendations using the link below:
